one big advantage is your car looks more like the pro drivers:lol:

some B6 bodies in stock at Team Associated. I ordered three to airbrush and sell. Do you guys prefer the lightweight bodies or the regular ones?

Wildcat1971 06-20-2016 11:52 AM

RandyJones 06-20-2016 12:16 PM

Interested in how you guys will build.

Team Orion Motor and ESC
Savox servo
AKA tires

You want on power steering, reduce front droop. Why are you running a 4 gear on turf?

hmmmm... I always thought it was the opposite?

Tuning with Droop
Typically, less Droop reduces body roll. Less in the rear will free up the rear a bit, giving more steering. More Droop in the front is good for better on-power steering.

8IGHT 3.0 Tuning Tips
More droop (travel) in the front will have more on-power steering and allow the buggy to
roll more on the rear when on throttle.

Sounds good depending on which Savox ur thinking of and also Orion stuff is great but is also the most expensive too expensive IMO even compared to other A brand options which are just as good and are a bit less money

I run Orion ESC and motor and the smoothest and most trouble free.
Savox servos i have not run but have heard of issues with them. I personally run Airtronics 94661 servo (Sanwa ERS-961) and is flawless. Different companies tire compounds are drastically different but really like ProLine with JC second. AKA have never had much luck getting them to work. Proline tires sauced with yellow liquid wrench is money!

Changed the wiki, let me know if you guys like that, or want something different.

Would be nice, likely those are production kits for initial build check of the exact kit release the public will see or rest of team drivers of certain levels to be supplied.

Not for public consumption. Still 3 to 4 weeks away likely.

This is a two wheel drive car. And on power implies coming out of the corner on power. The chassis isn't going to roll any further at this point. It will be transferring weight from the front to the rear. Decreasing the front droop reduces the amount of weight that will transfer off the front tires. Give it a shot. It definitely works. It's one of my more common adjustments.
