A little more work and it'll be just shiny enough.

For those who don't want to pay for a hudy setup station...

With the price reduction of the b6/d kits should we expect an updated kit, or maybe this is just a seasonal answer to TLR's 22 recent success?

Any ideas?

Maybe the club racer b6 was released to deplete inventory on soon to replaced stock?

With all the available options installed, I already consider my car as being a 6.1 or 6.2. 🤡

Anyone happen to know the weight of the factory plastic bulkhead? I see the aluminum upgrade part is 10g and the brass bulkhead is 30g. Wondering how close the aluminum weight is to the original plastic bulkhead?

Someone posted an opinion on facebook regarding the b6 lrice reduction that makes a lot of since. The b6 was a lower cost kit to get into. With TLR's recent offerings and the club racer stuff this ee b6 lrice reflects AE's attenpt to keep the b6 kot at the relative leice point to their competition that it is designed to fulfill.

Cool new stuff from these guys. I never want to pay Hudy prices, especially for their relabelled Chinese trinkets. Don't get me wrong, they make some good stuff, but they sell some Walmart grade crap, too.

maybe they adjusted price to make them more attractive, other companies have lower prices with on par or slightly more optioned offerings. it could also mean AE is working on new release variations, they have plenty of options looking at past releases.

Factory Lite, Worlds, Championship edition, then the number variations like B6.1, etc

i myself forsee, the RC10B6 fo sho spec lite fo nutin kut da bug in da rug edition coming

Often you'll see price drop with demand. Could be that they have more inventory than they expected to (over forecast) and can't see any way through besides dropping price. For all we know, the release of the club racers could be the cause..

I guarantee something new is in the near future. The price drop from AE on a popular car without fail is a updated or new product. My prediction is a updated B6 with both transmissions included. And a lite version. They have released too many b6 hopups in the past few months to be a new car such as a b7.

+1

I hope they have finally stabilized chassis design to just incorporate small changes vs a whole new platform. I would rather see incremental improvements over a longer period of time vs a whole new chassis every year or two.

Anyone had problems with the esc that comes in the club racer kit? One of the guys had one yesterday for his son's first race day.. It was not a pretty situation as the ESC got so hot it broke the case and kept thermally shutting down.. He was never able to do more then 2 or 3 laps before it would choke on him.

There is already a running change in the chassis maybe they are slashing prices on older kits with the older chassis?
