Is it an rtr or just a bundle of a kit and electronics? It looks like a bundle that still needs assembly. However, I hope they do discontinue the B4 rtr and get everyone on the same page.

That's been needed, good job AE.
|
I wouldn't have minded a full fledged RTR, but I like the new club racer concept....
|
So what's the difference chassis wise between this and the b6d ?
|
I wonder if it's missing any components vs the kits. 3 gear and no lay down is the biggest difference I see. Love the idea. Great way to get going. Just add a tx/rx and Your good to go.

Fiberglass shock towers
Non-chamfered motor plate Composite shock bushings Steel nuts to hold on battery strap. Pretty much the full race kit with quality reedy electronics. |
This should be fun to race if there is the club race car only with limited battery selection, tire and fixed gear ratio with no modification (box stock only for rookies or kids)....
For on-road, Tamiya is introducing the Euro-Truck race with no modification and box stock only and it is getting popular for everyone not only rookies and kids. |
Great to see. Seems like a fully competitive setup out of the box. I hope they're rewarded for the effort.
Interesting that the B64D version isn't called "d", but contains 3 diffs. |

Probably. Since the fiberglass would flex more than carbon fiber. But on higher grip tracks the flex will affect the handling.
|
I like they updated the kit setup.

91726 rear tower G10 I wonder if these are produced by Jeff? |
How do you guys think the electronics will be?

Same with the motor, just a couple different things than the Mach 3 17.5 so it should also be fine |
