good stuff I got the parts ordered. Only thing I don't have is the brass bulkhead but will grab that later on since its $$$ if needed.

Out here we are limited to non-hardpin tires for the rear so slicks are common and we can traction roll clay ones.

Ran the car for the first time yesterday. (10.5 mod on high bite carpet). Car was great but has just a bit too much on power understeer. Any tips to dial this out?

Oh cracked the front tower too. Lucky i had a spare xfactory one.

^^^^I love these posts

I drove my car, oh yeah I also drove like crap and broke my car.....better tell the internet how crappy the car is.

Tighten up your driving and you'll stop breaking shock towers

I've crashed a lot and have yet to break a tower. Touch wood....

guy never said it was crappy, just that he broke the tower and was glad he had a spare.

How many of us have broken a part and have been happy we had a spare??

I'm just annoyed with the shock tower posts, they're more annoying than the "what side does my diff screw go" posts

the car is NOT crappy! i loved it right out of the box it was pretty much sorted cept for a bit of power understeer. came from half a lap down on lap one to finish second..so im happy as!
disappointed about cracking a tower but thats racing...managed to finish the race and fitted a spare one for the next. Itd be good if SOMEONE offered a 5mm tower for us not so great drivers. :) someone suggested using Two towers sandwiched together lol

I love this car, initially built it up with a 17.5 without any light weight drivetrain parts just ceramic transmission bearings but couldn't handle the spec class aspect and missed the power of mod. Today was my first mod race on the b6D and I am very happy with it. Had a mistake putting the servo back in and my ball stud was actually hitting the top deck which made for some interesting handling characteristics but other than that i ran back to back 18 lap qual runs which is about 10 seconds or so faster than my b5 however my tires were potentially better as i ran the new positrons so its not a fair comparison.
This car has restored my confidence after a 3 year break trying to get back on to pace with some very fast competition.

Love my B6D and i'm going from slow to medium racer speed... was about to take the D main victory yesterday for the bump up and snap just a few laps before the finish, broke a rear tower i'm sure it had fatigue cracks building up I bought the car used and then put a beating on it!

Picked up the new Xfactory Infinity thicker 4mm tower with the extra hight for those B5M rear shock bodies.

Picked up the Hobby Action battery brace and tried it out yesterday with a turnbuckle installed instead of the waterfall. I could actually feel a difference, mostly in off-camber cornering where with the waterfall I felt "tippy", but with the turnbuckle (w/o waterfall), I felt like the car was able to flex slightly and stay more flat and connected to the track. This was on medium/high traction indoor clay (track.speedrc.com). Definitely something to try as a tuning aid.

Just finished building a B6 and wanted to set axel height to +3mm. Am I correct the kit only comes with parts to do +2 with 1mm top and 2mm bottom?
Do I need part ASC91676 to do +3?

This is a pic of what I did for now - put the top 1mm spacer above the spindle and added a 1mm spacer on top of the 2mm. Any reason this wouldn't do the same thing?

what color rims come with the B6D kit?
