I did at one point but replaced the front bulkhead and front diff ring/pinion, shimmed and all was good again.
From there I went to v3 diffs and didn’t have a problem with those either so was likely the bulkhead.
Truck is great but no where to really race with it and practice is only so fun. So figured I’d pass it on and got a RC8B3.1 I’m going to give nitro a run again....
You still having issues?

Assuming then that the bearing to bearing width is the same between the v1, v2, and v3 diffs, correct?
One more question. Is the v1 & v2 spur gears and ring gears compatible with the newest v3 higher capacity diff bowls or did they change the design?
Thanks guys.

The T3 can very easily be converted to a 3.1. Bulkheads, diffs, CVAs, and HRC arm mounts. I was running the 3.1 buggy diffs last year with the arm mounts and CVAs and the truggy was awesome. I had to run a 12t pinion on the motor but it worked very well.

I haven’t broken an arm in a long time. I had a few bad wrecks at Motorama and they were fine.

I believe the tooth count and cut are the same. It has to do with the way the internal face is machined to work with the new diff housing and internal gear. With the new diff cups being larger, I'd guess the hole spacing is a bit different too but I am not for sure that is the case.
