happy to see you back trackside a Jeremy. I run mugen 70/7.5 front and 86/8.75 rear

very similiar platforms. Ae usually has better parts support but mugen might me better build materials. That being said I am very pleased with my ae.

Ok maybe I’m missing something.

Need more rear traction on power mid through exit of corner. Already lowered rear diff oil and went with softer springs and oil in rear as well as lowest inside hole on rear tower.

I need the truck to rotate on power mid corner and hammer down through the exit. This is where I’m loosing time.

Should i try LTC gears?

track is loose and loamy and dusty.

???

Its hard to add more rear traction AND have it rotate better. Everything is a compromise. To get more rear bite (lessen rotation) try adding more rear toe and maybe adding some anti squat. Softer rear sway bar also.

Thanks. I’m already at the softest rear sway bar lol.

Il try increased toe in. I have to double check anti squat but I know I raised it last round of adjustments.

Thanks

Hi guys,

Could you let me know if you run your AE truggys with a toe in set up. I've double checked the dims of my steering arms and I've a slight Toe in out of the box.
Is it the right starting point?
thanks for letting me know,

thanks for letting me know,
1/8 off road buggy or truggy exclusively runs toe out on the front. Toe in should be for the rear only.

I would take the manuals recommended length on the steering links with a grain of salt on any manual. They are usually not what is needed lol.

Start up front at 1 deg toe out. Go from there.

Hopefully these will help solve the constant ring and pinion stripping issue.

Is this still the 'main' thread to ask questions about the newer Associated eTruggy platforms i.e T3.2e and T4e platform?

I have a T3.2e - i was wondering what parts from the T4e would 'upgrade' on your T3.2e as part of regular maintenance? I have heard people mention running the T4e gearbox housing's so wondering what else is compatible.
