Hope they release the 3.1 soon! Waiting to try a truggy until then. Of course with the prices slashed on the 3......maybe a very lightly used will pop up at a price I can live with as a test mule until the 3.1 hits!

I'll probably upgrade my 3 as stuff wears out unless there are drastic changes.

Put the mugen front uppers and lowers and mbx7tr rear camber links. That'll address any arm issues. I have broken the mugens also.

So why doesn't anyone run the Associated springs? I'm running blue front and grey rear on mine. Are those springs Richard an softer?

I'm running the hot bodies orange spring in rear and associated blue(3.1 20mm) up front. I was running a mugen spring up front. I got 20mm blue yellow and maybe grey associated fronts and have only tried the blue. I could never get the front ride height above 32mm and after 8 months I figured out I had the 70mm instead of 75 mm mugen springs. I'm tired of the mugen springs I like color coded springs not 70-1.7-7.5. The mugen tags fall off and for me are a pain to identify w/ no tag. Truck is much better w/ a 36-8mm front ride height obviously. I placed 5th yesterday in amain w/ this truck and it's my second season of owning/racing rc cars. This truck is great and is getting more popular. I used to be the only one maybe 1 other one and yesterday there was at least 3 in the A main. I think the cheap price sparked some interest in this truck the last few months. I've driven one w/ the stock set up and it was a hand full. I got most of the dnc on mine other than a few things Fred P told me to do which really chilled it out. If I want it to push it will push if I want it to rotate It can rotate. Mugen rear links and front uppers and it is rock solid. Although I've been seeing some w/ stock uppers and stock rear camber link/ends and they said they have no problems. So something must have changed because I went threw dozens of uppers/ camber ends in the first 2-3 months w/ this truck. Any funny landing would be a snap or a rear wheel laying on its side w/ uni sticking up for me last june/july.

The fronts are stiffer than anything we have.
AE rear springs seemed ok, but those were the last springs we ran and it was pretty good. I lost the notes from the day but I kind of remember the AE rear spring producing better laptimes but RS liked the way the truck "felt" with the teckno sets.

Body mounts and a body would be a good place to start. You might have to get creative with getting it mounted up. I have a T3e that I need to build still, but it shouldn't be too tough.
