The bearings are in correct and the only thing behind the pillow ball is the blue cap. I'll get a pic when I get home. I did put the mugen upper arms on would that make a difference?

Nah I didn't have any issues w/ the mugen arms, but some pics may help. I can look at your pics then look at my truck. It's gotta be something weird/simple.

Which inserts do you have in the A and B blocks? If the dots are out, that could push the arms out far enough to make the drive shafts pop out. That's about the only way I could see it happening.

I have centers in both blocks. I figured it out. When assembling the arms I put the mugens on with those blue caps. The mugen arms don't have provisions for the collars like the factory arms so it pushed the ball out a few mm causing the axle to be a tad short. I removed the collars and all is well.

Thanks for the help. Had the shims not been mentioned I probably wouldn't have checked that for a while. I took it out for a quick rip last night around the yard and I can't believe how fast this thing is. I've got the monster 2 2200kv in it.

What's the difference between the flat shock pistons and the domed ones?

Broken several front upper and lower arms, have since replaced with Mugen arms and have had much better luck with those.

Also had the rear upper link pull out as other have stated, bought the lunsford ti turnbuckles having read it resolves that issue here somewhere but they pulled out as well. So replaced that with all Mugen stuff as well and haven't had a problem since.

Other than that it's been great and is very easy to drive fast IMO.

Between my wife and I we have had some bad wrecks with the truggy and nothing has broken. My biggest gripe is the bearings. I replaced all of mine with avid because most of them were locked up.

Surprising, the blue shielded bearings in my kit lasted a long time for me. I actually got 5 weekends of racing out of mine without any cleaning of the bearings. Bad batch I guess. Won't be long and us N.E. guys will be running are T3's again. I just need a fresh body to start the year off to be really ready.

Will there be a T3.1e or have they aborted truggy all together?
