Upgraded all drive train bearings and now it nosedives on brake!!
I never had a rc car do this it literally wants to flip forward, I reduced braking power.. However in this case will heavier rate springs and oil help this phenomena. I think my rc car just crossed over to this place called high performance. It also does some gnarly pop wheelies if there is enough traction.. my poor wing is getting shredded up top and bottom.

I think increasing arm kick up might help.

Well I crashed oops!! bent the motor mount, broke the motor adapter, cracked the diff case the spur is ok, mashed the bumper, no other front end damage as the bumper took most of the impact.

Why post?? I am doubting the 4.4 degree motor angle and am looking for opinions on the offset. When I get all my stuff to repair this I am planning on going zero degree.

Default Getting back into rc

Been out of the game for a couple years. All my kits are discontinued. I’m looking at getting the tlr 8ight e 4.0 kit. Do you guys foresee this kit sticking around for a couple years, or do you see it getting discontinued in the year year or 2? Is the XE a new option I should go for? I’d hate to get the 4.0 and have it get discontinued relatively soon. Thanks

On my last differential rebuild I noticed that the diff o-rings seals fit and have clearance to fit inside on the cup shaft. I noticed a lot of build up in this crevice. I am tempted to at least test run and see if it work good. No binding on the bearings at all and have applied this to the front and rear.
Thoughts??

Does anyone know if the 3.0 and 4.0 bodies will fit the 2.0? I just took out my brand new in box TLR 8ight-E 2.0 roller from my shed where it has been sitting for the last 8 years. Got it on clearance from a local bobby shop. Having the stock body professionally painted. Want an extra body or two for practice. Let me know. It would be nice if the bodies would fit. I'm wondering if the 22X-4 would fit as well.

I can’t seem to find what differences there are between the stock 4.0 rear C & D blocks (TLR244028) and the Losi LRC "Lower Roll Center" rear C & D blocks (LOSA1759). Can someone list the differences for me? Thanks!

If you are talking about the brace inserts, I believe they are all the same for the most part.

I have both of the brace sets you listed..
