22 4 is bad to the bone in my opinion.

Per several people at AE via the RIPcast a new wheeler is coming early next year. I would bet we see prototypes at reedy and cactus and a full release shortly thereafter

Well... I went and bought an xray to try out in the mean time. This should give me enough time to see if I prefer this chassis or if I want to continue with TA and try their new chassis when it is released.

All they have to do is copy another manufacturer again, as they did with the bj4we. I heard it looks like the Schumacher k2!

Sweet, so it really looks like a tamiya 501 or 511. That would be dope. A tamiya car with product support. I'd jump on!

My understanding is that they bought the bj44 design

B55 = B5 with 5 wheel drive?

I think they'll call it something new entirely like a B5 4wd or B5AWD (all-wheel drive) or possibly B54, I actually like the ring to that one if it's loosely based off the B5 platform. I did call the SC5m correctly. Maybe I've got this one too hahah

Never seen a Tamiya 4wd buggy with the weight all down the centre line and counter rotation gears like the Schumacher K2 has, have another look, it's a fairly individual design the K2

The K2 is actually a reversion to a previous Schumacher system, albeit updated and well refined. They looked long and hard at the K1 and what it's issues were and compared to their previous cars as well as competitors I'm sure, and they addressed most of the issues, minor as they were. I would love to drive a K2 soon.

They make them for forklifts. The motors and control systems are somewhat similar. It's possible.

Just buy the Tamiya and a few spares! That's what I run for a wheeler (Highly modified TRF502X shorty) and I never have to miss any racing due to broken parts. I can't stand that everybody is soo gaga over TLR and Associated. Haven't had a Losi since the XXX days, but my B5m compared to any of my TRF buggies is JUNK!!! (quality wise, not performance)
