Is that a good diff setup or is it too low? The reason I went thicker is because everybody has been saying you can push the buggy harder with thicker oils and it is more stable. I want to try 5-5-3 but from what I read it is too low for this buggy. I just don't want to waste my time changing the diff fluids if I don't need to but I do want more off power steering so the buggy doesn't push so hard around this one particular 180 turn after a high speed strait. The buggy turns fine around the rest of the track with 7-7-5.

I think tekno wanted the buggy to feel easier with this thin 5k oil

I run on a loose outdoor track with a hard packed base and is really dusty and rutted. Today was the first time it felt really good. I went 573 in the diffs. No sway bars and bottom of shocks in on A arm. Also shortest camber links front and rear. Double dot out rear toe ,3 degrees of camber all around. And also used the 48.2 10 degree blocks and spindles.
I no longer had to use the high bank turns to get a decent turn in, I was ducking and diving inside of everyone. This buggy needs allot of steering help on a slippery track and that setup gave me great turn in.

Ordered my EB48.3! Hopefully SMC doesn't have their shipment of 6500s delayed or I might cry...
What's the hit setup for a super mega ultra loose soft and hard pack mix track?

*****Posted this in the EB48SL thread, but it doesn't get near as much traffic as this thread, so figured I'd post it here as well, one additional comment for this thread, I wish my EB48.3 was a little lighter, be nice if it was a bit closer to 3200g*****
I weighed my buggies and just thought you guys might find it interesting.
EB48SL - HW XERUN pro SCT esc, Tekin 3300kv, 6500mah 3s vant lipo, DS1015 servo
EB48.3 - Tekin RX8G2, Tekin 2050kv T8i, Vant 6500mah 4s lipo, DS1015 servo
I'm interested in trying to get the SL up to 3200g, i'm switching to a Tekin Pro 4 HD 3000kv motor that will add 28g, so I think I'm down to needing 116g to reach 3200g. Any recommendations on what to use to add 116g?
Thanks.

I also have 37.5 AE front and rear with the 6x1.6 pistons, pink front, orange rear.
I'm running AE fluids in there at the moment but plan to switch to PT. Just have to put an order in.

What pinion should I run with a 1700kv motor

Also I have a eb48.2. And a rc8b3e. I'm thinking of running my tekno instead but one question. Is the .2 that much different than the eb48.3. Should I sell and get the .3. What r the major differences
