yes....I bought one done and built one too. The WWHD tranny is the best to start with but the shapeways will have to do. The only real mod is drilling 2 holes in your chassis.

FYI the drilling of the holes for the shapeways is optional(states it on the instructions) I did it to my b5m, worked out well, but now I am running it in my SC5M no holes drilled and haven't had a problem. Constantly top three.

Any news/rumors on an SC6M? Would love a SC to go with my new buggy, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger knowing that there's a very high probability that the new platform is around the corner.

hey everyone - I am trying to follow a new setup that has "25g brass c mount" listed. Is it this part even though they are not listed as compatible?

Thanks!!!

Thanks, that does look like it would fit better. This is the setup I am trying to use:

http://site.petitrc.com/setup/associ...1231/setup.pdf

I am running on high bite astro with the same tires as this setup... hoping to get something I can drive hard without traction rolling.... I feel like I have to take the turns super slow...

EDIT: Or maybe this one with my current tires? http://site.petitrc.com/setup/associ...way2015080709/

Does this work on the SC5M and the B5m? Any modifications need to be made? Does it make a difference?

Are you guys using the stock o-rings in your 12mm BB shocks? Any alternatives?

Thanks!

I have used the stock ones in my T5M and SC5M with no problems.

The X rings are pretty new. Nothing wrong with the stock O rings, they just need a tad more care during assembly:

1) Use green slime if you have it
2) Don't compress the bottom cap until after you've inserted the rod.

Both measures will help prevent the insertion of the rod (particularly its threads) from damaging the O rings.
