Does anyone have any recommendations for front and rear springs that are stiffer than the AE Gray Truck Springs? There's soooo much grip at my local carpet track that the Grays are still too soft...even with a Heavy rear anti Roll Bar

On carpet this truck needs a front sway bar and or stiffer front springs. It would also be nice to have droop screws as well. It's a nice truck but if AE would have added these it would be a great high grip truck.

Kyosho Orange appear to be a bit stiffer than the AE Truck Gray.

If that isn't stiff enough then perhaps look at using smaller hole pistons and thicker shock oil.

Walliebuilds offers a front sway bar kit and it is excellent quality.

Have you tried making the 3rd hole on the front arm? This should help as well.

Quick poll, who is running a 3 gear?

What surface do you run on?

Anyone try a 3 gear and go back to a 4?

I'm currently running 3 gear. Have tried switching back to 4 gear on some lower grip tracks (most would probably consider them NO grip) and couldn't stand the feel of the truck either jumping or particularly while braking or at corner entry. To me, 3 gear feels better on all levels of grip. I have seen guys with 4 gears or rear motors close the gap on me when the grip comes down but I still stick with the 3 gear because, to me, it's funner to drive.

Cool, i built mine with the 3 gear so i have never tried the 4 gear. i have always struggled with rear grip compared to my b5m and t5m (they both have 3 gears) and was wondering if the trans would make a difference.

Does anyone if Team Associated will release an updated version of the SC5m any time soon?

Buggy shocks, 21-23 mm RH, YZ2 gear box, wally builds bars. Lots of stiffer springs to choose
from. Bodys are HUGE on carpet/astro, Losi precut 2.0 is about the lightest one you can get
get, whatever one your running get it as low on your truck as possible.

Well the B6 and B6D are out so it will be a short course based on that platform. I don't think they'll call it the SC6 thou something else. Kyosho has an SC6.

I currently have the Sc10 and I would like to step up to a mid motor SC truck soon. They seem to whip through the turns much quicker than my sc10 does. Not sure if I should wait for mid motor kit based on the b6 or just get the sc5m soon.
