I forgot to mention that I was not sure if I was going to finish this race as I just went to 2 5800mah 1s SMC 100c batts. As you can see from the results I did finish and also I really shock as when recharging the batteries I only used 3500mah????

So a while back on my Facebook page, The Caster Boys, I posed the riddle: "when is a buggy not a buggy?" The answer is when it's a short course truck dressed as a buggy, or as I like to call it, a Scuggy. My truck is now a Rapture 2.0 Buggy, aka "The Purifier". A Rapture with bumpers removed and a buggy body and wing installed. A true hybrid in that it slots in ,width and weight wise, between a 4wd SC and 1/8 buggy. A few ideas are at work here.
-If 4wd SC racing goes on a decline in your area, you can switch your Rapture over and still run the equipment that you are used to.
-Can compete as a superlight buggy if you have that class in your area.
-Gives you the versatility of being able to run the buggy class for a change of pace but easily convert back to short course if you like.
-Also showcases the durability of the Rapture in the premier electric offroad class, since the question of durability comes up quite a bit in online forums.
The only real challenge will be thermal management of the electronics since they are more enclosed than they would normally be, and 4wd SC powerplants generate a lot of heat. This should be easily managed with cooling fans and esc tuning.
Looking forward to seeing what this thing will do on the track.
