If the reliability proves to be good I may try one myself. Not going to be an early adopter on this one though.

Im pre-ordered on this and the desc10. Looking forward to getting these things on the track.

I think these cars look great. None of the things people are pointing to really worry me. The motor mount and pinion thing is just stress of something being a little different than what is typical. To me that's part of the appeal of this car. Not the same old cookie cutter. Lots of little innovative features that look good to me.

That said, I am really glad they ditched the saddle pack style setup. If they had come out with another saddle pack version I would have never considered getting one.

Shock towers are attached to the diff casings, the older model with the alu bulkheads made it quite stiff this car is much more stable and forgiving!

Can't go wrong with the Tekin combo... And any servo with over 300oz-in of torque will work great. I have a Viper VTX8 esc and VF8 2100kv combo with a Savox 2274 servo. Plenty of torque plus 0.8s transit time. But here in the US, we're still waiting on our buggies! How did the build go?

Post some pictures of the built buggy. How did the build go? It looks like it come half built and it's just a matter putting a handful of assemblies together.

The 2050 and 2250 will have too much power. The best Tekin combo for e-buggy is the RX8 with the 1900kv motor. Very smooth, plenty of power, and easier on batteries.

Was just watching some e-buggy footage from the Neo Buggy race and they showed several laps from one of the Euro drivers running the DEX8. Car looked good. Plenty of steering, and really handled the bumps well.

I use Hobbywing speedos and I wont look back. For my DEX408V2 last year I used a Hobbywing SCT 120 amp speedo without issue (Around $80) . It was hooked to a Tekin Gen2 1900 KV. (30+ races)

Worst hit last year was on a larger track with massive high speed daytona turn, I caught a rut and smashed the wall with car vertical, it broke the casing of the speedo. The car acted up for the rest of the race. When I got it back I saw the cracked case, zip tied it and never had a problem since.

Ordered an RX8 Gen2 and T8 Gen2 1900kw but still trying to decide on a steering servo. Hoping to have everything by the time we get the kits!
