Evening (afternoon for you guys) Nick here from the UK , just registered.
You don't realize how lucky you guys are over in the US with all your short course tracks!
We don't really have any specific SC tracks over here, I have to run mine on 8th outdoor astro which is really pushing it's capabilities !
Only been built a few weeks but it's had some hard use already. What a truck, absolutely love it !
Still playing with setup's but it's getting there.
Nothing fancy in mine;
-Tenshock 4400kv
-Hobbywing WP SC8
-Power HD 20kg MG
-Proline F11 / DE borrego
-Schumacher mini pin's
-J concept Raptor shell (Proline Flo tek lasted 5 meets!)
-Turnigy nanotech / Graphene 2s
-Tekno ali servo horn
-Tekno Low freq springs (Pink Front / Yellow rear)
- 15t Pinion
Diff's i'm running 7 - 10 - 3 (need to change to 5k rear)
Front shocks;
- 450cst
- Pink low freq springs
- Droop 103mm
- Ride height 21mm
Rear shocks;
- 350cst
- Yellow low freq springs
- Droop 114mm
- Ride height 20mm
Can't post any photo's as I've not made enough posts!

am I right if you find someone parting out an EB48.4 you can just grab the belcranks and ackerman from it, but you dont' want the turnbuckles that would connect to the belcranks?
are the diff oils for the recommended setup PT Racing oil brand? If so, from what I recall AE brand need to go slightly softer right? Thinking 10-10-5 here using AE. Right now at 15-15-5.

That setup also calls for the aluminum suspension hangers, like the ones on the EB48.3 instead of the included composite ones...

When you run the aluminum emulsion caps, this stand off gives you a little more clearance from the shock tower. I've never tried the plastic caps so I can't say if you still need that extra clearance or not.
All in all, if you put on all of those parts and freshen up any worn parts on your truck (if needed of course), you essentially have an SCT410.3.5. Not quite a .4, but way more than a .3. This was my experience with the EB48.3 too.
If you are a serious SCT racer and race this truck, IMO these option parts are all must haves. If you aren't, then clearly you may not get the value out of them. Only you can make that call

Correct, but if you initially prepped those shock caps as vented, you'll need new, with all the o-rings. Might be the cheaper way to go, but I haven't compared myself yet.

as mentioned the parts are listed on the sheet, but here's the quick list...
Emulsion caps
Shock stand offs for emulsion caps
.4 ackerman
.4 bell cranks
new steering turnbuckles (or just cut 3mm off each end of stock ones. That's what I did)
LF springs (I think it was Orange and Yellow Front, Green Rear)
HRC rear Hubs
Once you do these things, you'll have a totally new truck. It's crazy how much these change it.
