My son and I will be racing our new 410's on carpet as well so I checked out that sheet. On the shock setup where it says brand does he mean oil brand or are they running TLR shocks?
Also, the camber.....-4 on the front man thats a lot but I suppose that's to keep the front from grabbing and causing traction rolling.

As for springs, I personally may give these Xrays I have here a try if they fit. Ran those on my DESC10 I had and they worked excellent for it on carpet and outdoors, and they are really short too.

most likely he means shock oil. Running PT Racing oil here shoudl be interesting to see what the conversion will be.

And yes, setup sheet meant TLR oils...Basically just go up 2k for ptrc oils...if TLR 553...then PT 775

To add to that, you also get some tower cash still at this time. I am hoping mine tekno comes in before it ends so anything else I need I'll just pick up.
From what you guys are seeing, how does PT Racing versus AE versus Losi compare for Diff fluid weights? I use AE mainly as they had more cst types available, and PT Racing for my shocks.

I use PT in everything. Makes it easier to compare apples to apples of what everyone else is running.

PT goes up to 25,000 on the diffs which should be sufficient for anything other than maybe center diffs on 4wd buggies.

7/7/5 still pretty common on medium grip? About to start building my 410.3 that my wife got me last Christmas (I've been kinda busy).

I'm still getting holes punched in the centers of my shock bladders even after screwing the rod ends on all the way. I'm going to dremmel off the end of the rod where the nut goes to hold the disk on. Hope this does it. I depleted my local track's supply of bladders.

Is it just fronts or rears?? If so maybe the shafts are in the wrong bodies (rear shafts in front bodies?)
You should not have to dremel anything.
