I'm having issues with the inside of wheel rubbing on the rear A-arm. Am I supposed to space the hexes off using washers or something? This is the second set of wheels that rubbed. They are Jconcepts Hazard wheels, 3mm offset. the Tekno FAQ says that LOSI SCTE wheels are compatible, which these are (wrong! see below Edit)..

Edit: These wheels are actually not LOSI compatible, they are Associated compatible. I wonder if that's the problem? A fellow racer at the track hobby shop may have given me the wrong wheels. The part number 3352B is the LOSI SCTE wheel. Crap. Good thing I checked before I glued them.

Hi folks,
I've been following this forum for a bit and I'm a big fan of Tekno.
Just about to pull the trigger on a sct410.3 and would thought i'll ask for opinions about the electronics.
I'm planning to use it for casual racing at outdoor loose coarse dirt BMX tracks some the size of 1/8 and some 1/10th. It's mostly going to be fun with friends and no RC clubs so no requirements for ROAR legal electronics.
I'm leaning towards Hobbywing for the ESC + Motor. Should I be looking at 3400, 4000 or 4700 KV for these sort of tracks?
My budget is up to $200 for ESC & Motor and I'm open to other suggestions besides HW
Cheers!

I had the same problem with some older Proline wheels. I picked up these hexes and then added about .5mm worth of shims just to be on the safe side.

To be honest the SCTE 3.0 is amazing easy to drive with stock set up and more planted and faster entering/Exit in the corner. The tekno guy sponsor i always got him inside the corner with 180º turn. My SCT410.3 i mod battery location with BCE chassis but my driving style is still not good. I think if you running indoor track i'll go with SCTE 3.0 but outdoor SCT410.3.
Until the bearings go and you DNF due to a blown diff housing...The inferior engineering, and inferior plastics...Also won't take long to slop out...Yup, I'll stay away, thanks.

Yes thanks, I also found that out in my research today. The Borrego is a disk looking but stronger, the Trinidad is a little cooler looking but not as strong from what I read.
Here are the DE Racing part numbers that I plan on using:
Borrego DER-SCB-LB (black, front and back)
Trinidad DER-SCT-LFB (black, front only)
Trinidad DER-SCT-LRB (black, back only)

Should I pair it with Hobbywing's 120A SCT-PRO or the newer 140A XR8 SCT PRO

What SCT body do you guys run and are there any that arent roar legal not like I think I would be stopped at my local race track but its probably good to know.
Id like to get something a little unique like the Ford Bronco.
On the other hand I race outdoors alot so maybe getting a gimmicky body isnt the best so in addition which one would you guys recommends for jumping and racing performance.
