yeah changing the pills is quick, diff oils i don't want to change at the track, or shock oil. most adjustments at the track are iffy since I don't have a pit board or a flat surface, so i can't re-calibrate my camber or ride height very easy. I am having a blast running my tekno's, still try to get them dialed! the EB has felt great the past few weeks, now I am working on the sct. It generally handles well, aside from front flipping on the whoops and wanting to 360 when off throttle at the end of the straight, but that is fixed when the track is wet... the front flipping is my main concern.

one thing to look at is when you turn shrap if your tires look like they are shaking then look at how far your throw is and your servo horn because in some cases mine being one i had my throw set to far and after the servo horn comes around so far it loses leverage and the weel move back and forth and you loose steering, i added washers to the steering stops and ajusteded my throw to that and it helped alot

I have 4 washers in steering limiting, and no its not catching the body. i cut the wheel wells a little too, just incase it rubbed when the shocked compressed (since that would cause the front flip).
I will try taking off the sway bar and see what that does, since thats a very quick change.
im trying to get it to jump more stable, i don't feel like its throttle control thats an issue. when it front flips, it isn't anything that I could control, it basically snaps forward.

Debating on getting one for racing next summer. The track is a 100x100 dirt track that is usually dusty and slick. I'm trying to decide between a 540 motor or a 550. Battery abuse is a factor. Will a 4600kv 540 be enough if I also run on carpet occasionally?

Get the 550... You can always tone it down from your controller if need be..

I wouldn't recommend the 550, unless your running 2 pole. The 540 motors out there are more than enough for this truck, and the extra weight of the 550 is not needed or good for the setup in my opinion. I personally run a hobbywing 4700KV XERUN motor with a 15t pinion. It flys! This truck is already nose heavy, and generally biased to the left side in weight with heavy servos. If your truck is nose diving, take out the antisquat and the battery back mod is highly recommended as well to shift that sucker back 10mm.
If you invert the pistons it will slow down rebound some to and has a more stable effect.
Try running 6 hole 1.5 all way around inverted. This will increase the pack rate and slow down the suspension rebound travel which will allow you to bring some antisquat back into the mix. These things should knock all that nose diving right out.

I run the hobbywing xerun 4000kv with an 18t pinion outdoors and it keeps up with everything else out there.

Couldn't of been happier!!! My SCT was flawless, handled everything like a champ. My EB and NB didn't want to turn, but my SCT was flying straight, turning on a dime, didn't have any issues. I almost want to throw my sct setup into my buggies hah.
They revised the track, and added new jumps and reversed it. Everything was hooking up.
I got the delrin inserts for my SCT today, I have them for my buggies already, can't wait to put them in my SCT now too.

Changed my tires/wheels, and modded my arms, they were binding a little.. ><
I am looking to buy more lipos, I am currently using 7200 70c and 6000 70c
I was looking at :
SMC $38 7200 60c +$15 shipping
SMC $50 6000 100c +$15 shipping
Pro-Match $52 6500 70c +Free shipping
Pro-Match $70 8000 100c +Free shipping
Obviously the 8000/100c would be best, but what would you guys recommend? Or any other brands? I LOVE my 4s 6500 60c SMC's, but shipping is $15 for SMC...
Is there much of a difference between 60, 70, 100c for SCT? I run Tekin RX8 / Pro4 HD4300kv
