I believe the axles are interchangeable. I was just curious because I broke 1 then the next heat race another broke one of his (also a KF2 and wasn't a hard crash) then the night before someone else (also KF2) broke 1 side then broke the other side right after.

I also broke a front axle in KF2 last weekend on high grip carpet track. I didn't even hit anything it happened after a little bit harder landing when front wheel touched the surface first and it had about 30° angle. It broke where the hex starts and bearing ends. It has never happened in my old KF.

We did a little bit testing this weekend and the carbon chassis was significantly faster then aluminium chassis. The surface we race on is high grip carpet.
I don't have any experience on astro and clay so it's hard to tell.

We are also running high grip carpet and the carbon chassis is def alot better. We weighed them and it was a 53gram dif which is helpful in stock racing.

Also the shorty pack with low grip conversion is the way to go.

I went ahead and bought the carbon fiber chassis, the big plus is in run 17.5 so the weight loss is a huge plus but am I correct in saying this carbon fiber chassis will have more flex then the aluminum stock chassis giving it more grip.

Yes, the carbon chassis also raises the cg, so rhe swap adds more roll and more flex

I also broke an axle this afternoon while practicing. It too seemed like a pretty minor impact. The break was flush with the face of the carrier and very clean.

Just and FYI to anyone, TLR 22 rear buggy wheels wont fit this car. I sold my 22 2.0 and kept me rear wheels thinking they would fit being a 12mm hex and they wont. Not enough thread sticks out past the rim to start a wheel nut on them.

Depends actually. I bought DE wheels, and that's a no. My aka evo wheels fit perfectly.

HI,
I ordered recently a kf2 to have something different in my country (Turkey) I won't have any local support at least for a while so should stock some spares to end up the races. I race only 13.5t superstock on a tight indoor carpet track with medium grip level.
-My budget is limited so I should buy as few as possible spare parts. I assume Wishbones, hubs (don't know ıf I would need all 3 of them ?) rod ends are must have. What about front shock shafts, hinge pins, front bulkhead , belt or any other parts ?
-For setup I will order 5 degree yokes and some springs but don't know which springs should I have for my conditions described above . I'm totally unfamiliar with the car and brand
