Very nice paint job. I like the Illuzion bodies for the buggies and trucks too.

My ZX5 is in. If anyone has any building tips please post them. I bought the RCScrewz stell hex screw set for starters. T-minus a few days until you either see me singing the praises of Kyosho or complaining about a busted chassis!

Default attomic chassis

Well I am now on the list for the carbon fiber chassis. Hope it's stronger
than stock! I love the car but I guess every car must get sorted out.

i would like it, but $190 for a bottom chassis is too much.

Thanks Rysuleod!

Britracer, is it really $190? If it is, wow.

I was going to get one, but 99GBP + 10GBP shipping is actually closer to $200.

A full Kai kit is that much!!!

I have been planning on making a set of carbon parts for the car as well. I've been waiting to get my hands on this kit for quite a while now, hopefully it will show up today (fingers crossed)!!! Once I finally get the kit and mess with it for a while, I'll start designing some parts. It'll be a little while before they are ready since we need to make prototypes and race test everything, but I'll try to get pics posted for some feedback asap.

Thanks!

Hi guys, Jonathan here from Atomic-Carbon, its sad to hear the chassis is expensive for you guys but the exchange rate is not good when you are buying from the UK the chassis is a little more expensive than a standard flat chassis as the milled areas add a lot to the machineing costs of each chassis.

I could of gone for cutouts, but that introduce's flex into the chassis, which we are trying to reduce, also the chassis does come complete with the carbon fibre battery strap which is made from 4mm carbon fibre, plus all the hardware for mounting the strap.

Does the graphite chassis include any lexan undercover to protect the beautiful carbon?

I have the shock towers and top deck, they came to $80 which wasn't so bad...would really love the chassis....about 8 guys at my track just bought lazers, and I would love to be different....these are truely great quality pieces.

I would get one if i raced this car every week, but it is not getting enough use during on-road season to justify it....

Would there be any price reduction for a bulk buy?

Just out of curiosity, have any of you who have the new Lazer had a chance to race the car, and if so, could you offer any insight as to how it handles? Is it a competitive car?

Thanks Brit. I somehow suspected that Kyosho wouldn't jump back into the 4WD buggy scene without doing their homework. How is it fairing against the new T-Tech predators anyway?

Does T Tech field a competitive car?

I haven't seen one at a U.S. track in about 10 years or so?

Cool, the more diversity the better it is for the class. It would be nice to see in 2w also, since right now it's only 2 brands, ho-hum.
