Yokomo YZ-4

In case anyone is looking at buying a YZ4, here is a link that has them on sale. And no, I have no associations with them. Just passing on a good deal.

When the YZ4 was first released Race Drift Japan had them on sale for around $319. I bought one shipped to the States for $343 thus arrived in 4 days. I may just purchase one from Banzai as it is a crazy deal and a great way to have full lot of back up parts for again a crazy deal.

Ball diff
Can someone please explain to me the advantages and disadvantages of ball and gear diffs? And what type of track is better suited for them. My local tracks are indoor medium grip clay. Thank you

Ball diffs for the most part are better on low bite. Also ball diffs are much easier/quicker to tune. Gear diffs much less maintenance better on high bite however they are great on low bite if one dials in the right diff oil weight per their liking.
Ball diffs require rebuilds way more often than gear diffs. I think gear diffs are perfa for med bite clay tracks.

anyone know if there's an aftermarket option for YOKZ2-S4C? Inner Shock spacer (Misleading name) they're really the Shock Shaft Guides
Amain is perpetually out of them and I need to rebuild my shocks. Mibo has them but I cant justify the shipping because that's all I need at the moment
