For the laydown transmission, you will need:
CA Transmission Case
CA Idler Gear
CA Motor Plate
CA Rear Shock Tower
CA Battery Strap
CA Waterfall
CA Rear Arms aka "S4 Arms" (Z4-008RS4)
CA Rear Wing Mounts
CA Shock Tower Spacer
CA Rear Upper Arm Mount
CA Dog Bones (B2-010R)
CA Transmission Case
CA Idler Gear
CA Motor Plate
CA Rear Shock Tower
CA Battery Strap
CA Waterfall
CA Rear Arms aka "S4 Arms" (Z4-008RS4)
CA Rear Wing Mounts
CA Shock Tower Spacer
CA Rear Upper Arm Mount
CA Dog Bones (B2-010R)
The arms and dog bones are not necessary. Unless you are trying to.go full CA.instead of DT

Would you be able to quantify why the Yokomo ball cups are terrible? The only issue I had with mine are that they can bend/disfigure. Using longer turnbuckles solves that problem. Other than that, they have never popped off and remain tight.
#2679
Lots of guys have had issues with them breaking and popping off more than other brands.

On the flip side, some of the AE guys at my local track complain about the B5/B6 ball cups and how they get a lot play in a short amount of time. I should give them some of the Yokomo ball cups to try...

Yokomo ball cups are not terrible. Actually the have a great snug smooth fit. Guys we're replacing them as they had a tendency to bend thus over flex in hotter environments. Thus was the main reason causing some to switch to AE HD cups, and some will just use longer turnbuckles and lots of pep's stick with the stock cups as they do have promblems.

RBK1115 is spot on correct. The Yok ball cups are some of the snuggest fitting while being super smooth and last a long time. Heat is the issue combined with the turnbuckle length. Longer turnbuckles resolves the issue with over flex due to heat.

It is interesting to see other manufacturer parts on the Yokomo platform. RM is a fully sponsored driver by Yokomo. I wonder if Yokomo is a little bit more relaxed when compared to other brands when it comes to sponsored drivers running other manufacturer parts on the cars they are supposed to promote/represent. I have never seen AE, Kyohso, or TLR drivers "cross the streams"...

For my YZ2 CA/DT setup, here are the turnbuckle lengths I am using:
Front Camber Link: 64mm
Steering Link: 52mm
Rear Camber Link: 62mm

Nice! I essentially did the same as you. I picked up some purple Schuey Titanium TB's for dirt cheap 60mm which I trimmed down the steering TB to 52mm the front and rear camber I left the TB's at 60mm. Bought 3 pairs new for $12
