INTECH already makes a 2wd buggy - the ER-12.

Dialed-RC Hobbies will have the ER-14 in stock in 2 weeks.

So far the ER-14 is a phenomenal build. The quality of components is outstanding and the car went together extremely well. So far on the track I'm trying to find my "tune" but the durability and drivability is excellent.

I have a customer that's racing it already and loves it.

Can't wait to see more feedback on this car. Looking to buy a wheeler in about a month and this one is on my very short list. Got all my electronics waiting for a home. Car looks phenomenal for the price.

Intech BR-6 01-13-2015 09:39 AM

So far everyone has said the build and quality was great. Please post your setups once you find a good one.

After more adjustments I'm about 90% there. I've went with 7-10-5 and that seems to be the ticket for me on a tight moist clay track. Getting the rear end really planted is the last hurdle.
Also, there needs to be something done about the front bumper. It's a travesty.

Hoping to stir a little interest here.
Just started assembling my ER14 yesterday. My first 1/10 scale 4wd since a Schumacher Cat in the 80's. Really good Lookin car. Build has been really easy so far. Looks like it's gonna be durable.
What's everyone using for shock oils, springs & pistons. Losi springs are a lil loose but fit. This thing is tuff to find any info on. Can't find what the spring rates are for what it comes with. Would be nice if there were plates to adjust rear toe and antisquat. Can't find any option parts listed on the Intech site-help!
Gonna try out the shorty pack with rear motor location first. Can already see some spare parts I'll need to keep. The pivots for the arm pins look really easy to lose. And a couple spur gears doesn't look like a bad idea

crazy nick 01-30-2015 12:44 PM

Ordering mine in a week or so. Cant wait to build and throw on the track!

No option parts have been released yet (too new) but Intech is working on a few.

The springs are not rated, so I would go with an avid or Losi spring set so you know the rates and have choices.

King DORK 01-30-2015 01:29 PM

Do Associated springs fit this sexy thing?

wvrcracer 01-30-2015 05:52 PM

Being in that it includes the 20t pinion it was designed to mate up to a 7.5t modified:tire:

wvrcracer 02-01-2015 04:46 PM

Got a few. Set it up in rear motor on the left side. Which means it has no forward. Unable to reverse motor rotation in the speedo so, I flipped the diffs what do ya know they fit. Now I have forward progress. Man! Had it at the track Saturday but didn't get to take the first lap. Got an extra bag with different rear springs n shock bushings. Should have looked closer at those shock bushings. Gotta take the shocks apart n install the correct plastic. The rear springs that come n the kit must be for SCT. Glad they included the correct set. Proly end up with losi springs anyway. Will post pics in the morning.

Sorry there upside down. Technology challenged. At times.

Anybody know if XB4 parts will fit the intech. Had em sitting side by side this past weekend. While there not identical there are lots of things that look suspiciously the same. ???

alb 02-03-2015 01:05 PM

Does the kit come with wheels? If so, what color?

TXKawBoi 02-03-2015 05:42 PM

Has anyone done or seen a side-by-side comparison of the ER-14 and the HB D413? It seems to be a hot topic the days...

statton iv 02-03-2015 06:50 PM

mine will b here thurs.

TXKawBoi 02-03-2015 07:31 PM

Mr. Statton, you're not far from me. I've been to SA a few times since July of last year. I was just there for Thanxgiving. I'll have to bring my gear next time I come. Hopefully, that will include an ER-14 too.

Some may be. You may only find out by trying them if the opportunity presents itself. That's how I repaired one of my 1/8 scale buggies; by using parts from a different manufacturer due to discontinued/out-of-stock parts. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I also compared them side by side and tried a few Xray parts to see but they did not fit. So my answer would be no, XB4 parts will not fit the ER-14. There may be a few that do, but most are different and will not work without a bunch of modifications.

wvrcracer 02-05-2015 01:43 PM

ER14

should get to put some laps on it this weekend. gonna try out two new wheelers this weekend-good friend hooked me up with a losi 22-4 also.

Intech BR-6 02-05-2015 01:48 PM

The ER-14 is basically a 1/10th scale version of the INTECH 1/8 BR-6E E-Buggy, it's not a copy of any other 1/10 buggy.
