Default MBX7 Eco - Motor Help Needed

Hello - I'm sure there is a thread somewhere but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I've got an MBX7 roller now and wanting motor/esc recommendations. I had a Castle MM2 and 2200kv motor in there but built a Stampede 4x4 and dropped it in there for fun.

I likely won't race with it - mainly cruising and bashing around - some speed runs on asphalt, etc. I would also like to have the possibility to convert to short course at some point. I'm not as familiar with 1/8 motors and don't have much experience with Tekin but would like to try one of their combos - probably the RX8 unless there is a reason to consider the RSX? I don't mind the cost as I take care of my equipment and keep everything for a long time.

I have it pretty well upgraded so I think it should handle any combo. Would like some suggestions on what might work well for my situation. Any gearing recommendations would be appreciated too. Here are a couple of pics as she sits now - I have a Savox 1283sg servo, Spektrum Tx/Rx, 2 Thunder Power 2s 65c 5300mAh for running 4s. Thanks a lot!

That combo will suite you well for mentioned purpose. I use a Tekin 1900kv motor with blue Hobbywing SCT Pro 120amp esc geared at 14/46. Darn thing is super smooth for racing, but that's all I do with my MBX6 eco.

I've also not run sensored before - Will I notice a big difference in throttle response and cogging?
