Default Nexx8 worth $150?

Hey....never owned an ofna before, and know nothing about the nexx8. I've got my eye on one that is fully upgraded and comes with enough parts to last a lifetime. I'm curious though since it's been available for a long long time...and seems to have been discontinued by ofna; is it any good? This will never get raced, just wanted one since my local guys have 1/8 buggies and they look like fun. It's a roller btw...no elecs

Thoughts ?

To be honest if it's something you want don't regret not getting it sounds like a good deal. I run a ofna hyper 7 when people ask what I run I tell them I get a lot of "you should get a losi blah blah blah" but it's race proven and at a hobby level I love it ofna built it like a tank and an assuming the truggy would be even more so of one. I say be different and love what you drive if you like it go for it I really like ofna/hobao/hong nor good running vehicles imo.

Very hard to turn down plus with no motor buy a bad ass one for it. Are you going to put a nitro or electric? If nitro for 200 get you a nova p5 it's a monster for the price a lit of guys love it I have it in my buggy and it just puts a smile on my face also for electronics get yourself a flysky remote the gt3c or gt3b both great remotes for the price with good options 40 bucks.

the nexx8 is built by hongnor http://www.hongnor-racing.com/ . ofna is the us dealer. this buggy seems to be very well made and the lipos seat close to the center. must be a very good racers for cheap. I think the motor can be 72mm max. which is ok.
lipo box are 139 x 24 mm...

also check the price parts and buy some usual low front arm in advance acheck the nexx8 thread http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-8-thread.html and the ofna forum : http://www.ofna.com/forum/viewforum....4adedf43649d18

Thanks for the continued advice, and for the hyperlinks. I'm getting it tomorrow, but sure won't need spares, it comes with an extra buggy that's beat up, and three each of every single part on the car. For $150... I'd be stupid not to
