I haven't had any trouble with the stock plastic horn on my B5M either. Mine didn't break where it mounts to the servo, the arm part snapped in half just below the ball stud.

Seems like the T5M could use a servo saver.

I put the stock plastic steering rack back on and finished the day. Later on that day my friend bent his JConcept aluminum steering rack in the same place. I am going to keep a tally of Bent/Broken steering racks.

Steering racks bent or broken tally:
JConcept aluminum steering rack - 2
AE aluminum steering rack - 1
AE stock plastic steering rack - 0

My jconcepts rack also vent in the same spot.

I broke my kit servo horn on the 1st lap by just bumping the pipe doing about 5 MPH. I looked at the broken piece and there was a hole inside the plastic from an air bubble. Must be a bad batch. I have run the kit horn on my b4, sc10 and 2 b5's with zero issues. I put a replacement plastic horn in and the race night went great.

Default servo horn break

Mine looks to have broke because of an air pocket as well. The pocket i found was just under the ball stud mount. I dont have a photo of it, since i threw it away. but it was in the area

Just searched ASC7853. Several of the smaller online retailers have them. And eBay.

Yep that's all you need.

I like my 3 gear set-up. I'm running a 10.5t on high bite clay so traction isn't an issue.

Has anyone found they cannot get the stock slipper tight enough? I am going to try out the high torque pads and see if that helps.

Also having issues nosing over on wood kick-up jumps. I think the rear chassis is slapping the top of the jump and sending me ass over teakettle. It seems counterintuitive, but maybe the rear needs a stiffer spring or heavier shock oil. Rear traction is not an issue on the carpet track. Thoughts?

No problems for me with the slipper.

You have to find out if its the chassis slapping that is causing the ass over tea kettle or if it is the rear suspension doing it. My Durango 4x4 SCT is being difficult with the same thing, either its the suspension being too stiff causing the flip or too soft causing the chassis to slap and do the same thing.

If the chassis is slapping then you have to go stiffer, if the chassis is not slapping then you have to go softer.
