Don't expect it sooner than mid March. I would be extremely surprised if it comes sooner. We have 4 ordered and people are already fighting over the other 3.

Since everything is delayed with the port strike. I am pretty sure they are just relaying to you what the distributor is posting. Really nobody has a true idea at this time.

I'll go for saddles, but may also try a shorty if I feel the need for less weight. My RT-6 was really planted with saddles, so I guess it makes sense to start from there.

Default T5M setup?

Firstly, want to say hi to everyone! New to the boards. I have been out of RC racing for about twelve years, Dad and I use to hit up a few tracks in VA back in the day, but now that I'm 27 and can afford the hobby myself, I've been itching to get back to it. But, a lot has changed since then.

I really want to pick up a T5M (although skeptical about a mid-engine placement), I use to have a T3 way back when, loved the truck.

May be the wrong thread to post this in but what is everyone considering putting into their new T5 when it ships? I am way out of the loop when it comes to top brands and gear these days. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If any of you all race around the VA/Chesapeake area this summer, see you around!

I converted my B4.2 to a Centro mid motor and absolutely love it. I am probably gonna do a D4 13.5 short stack with a Hobbywing justock ESC. Savox or spektrum servo and a brick pack for weight. I feel it will be a good combo for our track. Might do a 3 gear trans and aluminum top shaft as well. Not really sure what other mods I will be doing as of yet.

Our stock class for truck is 13.5. Will drop in a Shurr Speed 13.5. We decided that 17.4 in truck was just too slow to really get them moving, so the move to 13.5. We have had some seriously epic battles in truck recently. Cannot wait, I have a 22T now, but will switch when the T5M becomes more available and setups are posted.

Awesome, good to know. I really had no idea where to start with brushless motors...last motor I ever owned was a Green Machine 3 (circa 2003) haha. I have lots of catching up to do.

Mod, 7.5 turn Vampire Racing. For stock racing you'll probably try to get weight as low as possible and use a shorty battery.
