I personally dont like durango that much either. I didnt like the build, and yes they are cheap in the beginning, but buying or replacing the aluminum parts especially is really expensive.

If you are on a tight budget buy a used car. My buddy has been doing that since he got into the hobby. He finally convinced me to buy used stuff so i bought a used Ve8 and it was an amazing deal considering what payed for it and all the parts that came with it and it was pretty much brand new. Used is the way to go!

Like others have said,if you are tight on cash then buy a used kit.You can find alot of good deals on rctech,and about 85 percent of the time you are getting something that has been maintain and taken care of.I have personally bought my last 3 kits in the FS section and they were all used.Also i race the desc410 and they are out standing,just like any other kit they have their pros and cons but for the money they are amazing.... Dont take other peoples negative reviews to the bank......
