I tried the brick pack and for me one would have to alter the setup quite a bit. I swapped packs w/o set-up changes and my car felt like it was out late on a drinking binge..

Weight has a fairly big impact on your shock package... And I guess your roll as well really.

Changing the weight of the vehicle significantly without at least shock package change does not seem wise.

I agree..Only thing I did change was ride height. It was a half hearted attempt, as I like my shorty packs in this car.

I have run both brick and shorty. I tend to like the brick more. But I usually run on medium bite.

Does Pro-line make a front wheel for the Spyder? I know the old Pro-line 2.2 wheels needed the hex grinded down. Not sure if the newer VTR wheels have a shallower hex? Better yet, will Serpent soon make 60mm wheels?

Thanks Guys

The 2.2 Velocity wheels won't work without grinding some material off. Not sure about the 2.4's. Serpent will offer their own 2.4 wheels in future.

Dont be nervous, just think beforehand what you want the car to do. If its not doing that make little changes until it feels better, this car works everywhere I have tried it. Do short little practice spurts, just long enough to feel the differences in the changes you make. Just going out and running a full pack with a car that doesn't work correctly is counter productive..

you can try 2-3k diff oil if you have. Gear diff is better for carpet or super high grip.

Ball diff should help it rotate better.
