Turnbuckle rear brace? Pics please. I think I know what you're talking about, but clarification would be nice. Thanks

  • front hubs
  • front arms
  • rear hubs
  • the tiny shock mount nuts
  • ball ends

I havent broken anything but the front hubs and ball ends wear out and get sloppy and i had a stud pull out of the rear hub

Oh and get the aluminum steering rack!!

Is exotek the only option for an aluminum topshaft ? I thought I had seen another one on this thread, but can't find it.

ok thanks ! assuming my car is bone stock, what other option parts are recomended by any of you fast stock guys. I plan on tranny gears and lite top shaft, but all other suggestions are appreciated. Since i run on carpet, "should" there be any gains in performance from adding sway bar(s) ?

For carpet, get the rear carpet springs. They are shorter. Allowing you to achieve proper ride height.

Are you on Facebook? Join the serpent Spyder group. There were a few posts recently about this about a track in NY.

Gear diff and front/rear sway bars helped me a lot on the carpet. I run CB's Custom cut gears and was fine in stock.

I also went for the aluminum bulkhead so I can change caster.

I noticed on the setup sheet from facebook for stock 17.5 that the spur gear is shown as 72t and pinion of 30t. is that was everyone is using for 17.5? I have been running the 70t spur with 30t pinion, what would be the difference I would see on the track?

What gains are you seeing with the turnbuckle rear brace? More rear grip on power?

The aluminum front bulkhead is nice, to add a bit of weight to the front. Also a selection of 2, 3, and 4 hole tapered pistons are a nice tuning option.

I am part of that group, but haven't seen anything about a track in ny, which is weird, because I'm in Ny lol.
