That would depend whether you are prone to hitting things and landing poorly off jumps. Is it better to have a slightly faster lap but finish last with a broken arm or better to finish the race in second?

I guess its hard to really say how great the Serpent truggy is, as the full electric kit isn't out yet. There is no comparison between the full electric kit and a nitro kit with an RCM conversion. I have the full electric kit and started with the RCM conversion, and it's night and day difference.

Are you saying that if someone is interested in a serpent e truggy to wait for the electric dedicated version vs the rcm converted truggy?

If they will ever release it. I check desoto, serpent home page and serpent facebook everyday hoping to see it released.

Absolutely wait for the dedicated version. Handles way better than an RCM converted nitro version. I think the RCM version has poorer weight balance and not enough steering.

Thanks. I am also looking at getting an e truggy at the end of the year so hopefully serpent has the e truggy out by then..... A friend of mine has the RCM converted e truggy and it seemed to drive very well from when I turned some laps, if the dedicated e version is that much better than it should be a very good truggy. Do you know if it will have a dual battery layout like its e buggy brother?
