broke a shock cap last weekend. fortunately i went with the factory team standoffs and caps for my B5M, so I went ahead and put them on all of my shocks. seems to fit ok. i wouldn't trust them without a bladder though.

Anyone?

Also, 2.4 or 2.2 for tire /rim size? what's preferred?

A lot of people like these. They should run 10 minutes easy.

According to Pro-Lines description, the 2.4's are lighter, have increased traction, and provide more control. I've never ran them myself.

Hope this is helpful.

emulsion shock build or full bladder? decisions decisions.. for emulsion I need to drill out vent hole and cut bladder, prob dont have a drill bit that small! is there a huge difference emulsion over bladder?

i re-read my post and i mis-typed. i bought the factory team standoffs and caps for my B5M and i put the stock plastic B5M standoffs and caps on my D413.

i am curious about your setup. you used aluminum factory team caps on your D413 shocks? what o-ring did you use?

How long is the servo arm? Are they standard among 1/10? I am thinking of removing the servo saver and just getting an aluminium servo horn when I get my kit.

I run the B5 composite caps and standoffs with .5mm shim in between tower and standoff with the stock HB bladder cut out for emulsion. No leaks or issues...

The HB Horn and most horns are universal for 1/10 and 1/8 vehicles. I would suggest Ditching the servo saver.

I didn't have a drill bit small enough either so I went with a long pin. Probably a sewning needle or maybe even a thin nail would work. You just have to go through a small amount of plastic to open it up.

JP would it be possible to see a pic of your RSX? I am doing my wiring right now and am a freak about clean looking and the capacitor is a pain, with my RS gen2 in my B5M I layed it over towards the body but if run the fan on the RSX it must go behind your help is much appreciated!

If you thread the screw all the way in it will make the hole for you too. 1.5mm is the drill bit size I used from my piston drilling kit.

Above is what I did. Just be sure to check that the plastic that gets routed out by the screw doesn't remain inside the cap and obstruct the bleed hole. Had this happen on one shock cap... I just had to take my hobby knife blade and clean out the leftover plastic.
