Shocks built. I must say the shocks are VERY nice. Nothing off of a tree. Pistons and plastics for lower shock cartridge all appear to be machined so no trimming necessary. None of this "I better not tighten down the bottom collar or it will bind". Tighten that sucker all the way down and they are still silky smooth.



Only issue in the shock build was part #112790. It actually has two different diameters on top and bottom. the smaller diameter goes toward the bottom (didn't realize this on the first shock).



As per Torrence's build tips, on the front shocks I trimmed out some of the o-ring for the ride height collars. I found that what Torrence recommends makes them too loose for my tastes. In this next pic, the piece on the left was from the front shocks (too loose). The piece on the right was from a rear shock and felt perfect.

Nothing eventful about the diffs. I would have preferred no shims on the diff pins (the kit has shims on the outside of the spider gears), but not a huge deal. They appear stout. i didn't have any issues with the 1.3mm screws going into the diffs. I used an associated .05" hex driver bit in a cheapo wrench and it gave great contact and bite so no rounding of the screw heads. no issues whatsoever. i will say that 100K oil is even thicker than I thought it would be. hard to work with as far as knowing whether or not your diff is full. i do like that the holes on the diff cup go all the way through (like tekno diffs) so you can see if you have your holes lined up very easily.

edit: now that i think about it, i haven't encountered a parts tree for anything. lots of orange annodized bling (I LOVE BLING). this is a very nice kit. has the look and feel of a very high end kit.

being unfamiliar with the onroad style suspension hangers, that took some time for me to visualize exactly how those went on and had to refer to jason snyders pic on here for confirmation that i was doing it correctly. also for all you people that intend to follow one of ty's setups, just realize the kit may not come with what you need to set it up exactly as ty has it (most common OCRC setup with the suspension hangers, plus his rear tow settings require more shims than the kit comes with). fortunately i anticipated this and ordered some xray .5mm orange shims so those came in handy. i'm through bag J and a bad back and early wake up call have me calling it a night. will finish tomorrow.

yzracer758, can't wait to hear a comparison report between the Pro2 & Redline Gen2 ! We have some outdoor tracks in our area that are 12,000 square feet. I bet the Pro2 would be a HOOT

I can't wait until indoor season...I'm SOOO getting one of these at the end of the summer for this fall/winter season. So bummed I'm not racing this summer. But at least it should mean parts support is up and running and kits are in stock ready to ship when it's finally time to buy.
