arms are the least of my worries. Havent broke one all year. Now I have stripped some pinions in the tranny and broke the tower braces.

The arms are not the same, and as you can see the arms are much thicker on the newer arms.

anyone running a front sway bar on a tight track? I never put mine on and I had a good amount of steering but it was a little difficult to drive consistently. I put it on and now it's definitely easier to drive but i'm lacking a little steering. I'm curious if anyone has the sway bar working well?

The arm are not weak at all and I do agree that they look thicker but they are the same part number. I wonder if Kyosho just did a running change. The arms on my ZX5 look just like the ZX6 arms but they have been replaced a few times...

The slightly thicker arms are a running change made when the FS2 SP was new.

The skinny arm on hloland pic is from the original ZX5.

The current arms are really tough, I have been running a ZX5 since 2011 and can't remember having broken a front arm.

I'm no pro but ran all swaybars at Timewarp. Its a bit smaller than Trackside if that's where you race. The ZX was awesome in 13.5.

My hotlap was right there with the winner. At one point I led a few laps, but messed up the triple a few times. In any case I won't proclaim to be a local fast guy. That being said I race maybe 1 x a month if that and I had a shot at winning 13.5 my first time driving it.

Love this car and like the growth of 13.5 for the casual racer.

What gearing have you been running with 13.5? Shorty battery I assume?
