Ahh, I believe what those are replacement outdrives for the sedan spool. They are replaceable instead of trashing the whole spool. Kind of like this.

I would assume they would be too large for the bevel gear shaft.

I used to use the plastic LA211B parts on mine, but you really have to keep an eye on them. Very important to use the proper o-rings on them to keep them in place, or the fronts will fall out.

They also start to spread and get gouges in them over time. I went back to the steel ones and added the LA379 pieces. No need to put the o-rings and just much more durable.

Ready for battle tomorrow morning!! Our first time with a 4wd. Thing seems to be mean for a 13.5. All 4 tires balloon up a bit.

Had a good time at the track! The ZX did fine for our first time running 4wd. The biggest thing we learned was how difficult it is to get used to 4wd then switch to 2wd. He practiced a lot with the 4wd and it was clear that it threw him off in 2wd. He did much better with it by the end of the night.

Interesting, I don't remember every having a problem with them separating on the ZX5, even using a mod motor back then. Maybe because it had a slipper. Regardless, LA379 should solve the problem. They weren't hard to drill out using the sleeves as a template. They're super cheap to replace too when they wear.

Yeah, I never had issues on any of the zx5 platforms. I think it has to do with the center diff/slipper sitting higher. The zx5 had the spur cutout, while the 6 has the raised area for th3 center. That and I think the front shaft could be a smidge longer.

I wish Kyosho would have updated the front diff case to not have such a drastic pinion angle as well. Would have fixed all these problems.

How did the buggy handle? Did it corner and jump well?

I can see a red motor through the windows.... it is a torque or rev version? What gearing are you running?

Is it possbile to mount a gopro on the body? Will the body hold? I can't see any mounting points from body to chassis. I'm worried if the body can't hold a GoPro.

Jumped and landed outstanding.

Could have used more steering. We couldn't find the exact tires we wanted but it still felt like it could have had more low speed off power steering. We might just be used to the 2wd which looks like it actually cuts the wheels sharper.

Rev version. 78/26. It was a screamer until we started getting a sensor fault from the speed control. We tried everything. Changed the wire, tried the other sensor plug on the speed control, went through the program box. We finally changed the motor and it was fine. I could bench test it and it seemed fine. It would run on the track for a while before throwing the fault so I think it might have broken a fiber washer and had too much endplay. Endplay felt really excessive. I took it apart yesterday to check it out and found all the screws were loose also so who knows. I bought it used so definitely not knocking Fantom. Motor is strong. We'll try it again next time.

I have had a sensor board die on me, but usually they either work or do not work so maybe the lose end bell and excess gap is causing the issue. When I ordered the motor from Fantom they actually recommended the torque version with an FDR of 7.8 which is exactly what you are running.

Good to hear. Tires make a world of difference.

Where can you buy T-works accessories in the U.S.? Trying to find the aluminum center drive shafts and the new drive shafts they just released.
