Ive noticed on a number of set ups, that people are playing with the inserts on the front hinge pin holders to achieve toe in inboard rather than through the steering turnbuckles?
What have people found by doing this?

I think for me this setting did two things;
1) I don't like the bump steer or steering angle during the stroke of the shock while turning. This for me helped smooth out the feel of the front through the turn
2) initial scrub of when the front takes the weight off power. The slight angle in my testing resists the weight transfer slightly to make it easier to drive. This is most noticeable on turf and carpet
3) I'm insane?

The center gear dif in this car is a pleasure to drive. I started at 100k and felt the car was very controlled and showed smoother power delivery at initial throttle and took the edge off of aggressive braking. Recommend it highly.

From what I can determine after reading through the ZX6.6 assembly manual. The recommended range is 100k to 500k CST. From the setup sheets from Jared Tebo from past Reedy Race(s) he was running 100k and 300k. Kyosho has 100k, 300k, 500k and they just added 1M CST to their product line.
Also the center gear diff kits are showing available as of last night on Kyosho America's web site. I'd expect parts to also being stocked this week.
