For those that have already run theirs, what seems to be the consensus on chassis braces? Front in, middle and rear out as most people seem to like on the buggy?

I'm not worried about it, I had plenty in my spares stash. Just wanted to put it out there in case others have the same problem. Other than that my build is going quick and easy. About to start on the shocks.

I know im the same way. I cant want to get one of these to try to get a class going at my local track.

I will prolly keep all braces on for the reason of how extended it is. Will be running mine tomorrow or Thursday. I'll wait to see if anyone has takin them off before I do. ;)

That's kinda what I was thinking. Maybe just pull the center brace out if it needs more flex.

Definitely use all braces. We did all testing with all braces. The truggy is so long and also heavier than the buggy and SC so the chassis sees a lot more action.

You saved $45 more and get it a day sooner. I'm jealous.

In all of your Durango's, what made you skip over the DEX408T? I'm still waiting to find out for sure if the 408's body will fit the ET48. Mullet1 said "it should," but I don't wanna gamble $40 on a maybe. I need a definite yes or not. I pretty much confirmed [via conversations] the Serpent body, that I really wanted to use, won't fit as it's not nearly long enough.

My truck should be there when I get home. :D

Now I have to make it through what will probably be the longest work day ever.

One reason only.. split lipo packs! I won't run series 2s packs, they NEVER last in a truggy over time and I don't want to replace packs several times a year. There really were not good options for 3s packs that fill well either. I race a ton of mixed nitro/electric truggy though the year so it's not 10min' or less then off the track for me. You can deal with 4s in 10minute blocks, past that, packs don't last long. That truggy is the cream though.. if you've seen one in person.. it's just woah compared to all others. Next best imo is Tekno; and tekno has single pack configs so for me it was the best option.. and since I was running the truggy the eb48.2 got the call to duty as well to keep parts minimized.

That's the ONLY reason I didn't buy it. I didn't want to buy a whole new set of lipos. I share packs between my e-converted Revo and RC8.2e, and now this puppy. I did just put in an order for 2 more packs tho.

P.S.
I just ordered the DEX body on faith. [Anyone wanting to buy a spare ET48 body?:D] Should have it in 2 days. I'll make dirt guards for it later. The truggy interior is just gonna have to get a little dirty for one weekend. And since my servo hasn't arrived, the RC8.2e is gonna get raped.
