I'm running a Tekin 2000kv motor, HobbyWing 150amp esc. For qualifying I run a ProMatch 4s 70c 4000mah, for mains I use a Kershaw 4s 60c 5000mah. When I have to run in the nitro class, longer mains I use two ProMatch 2s 7200mah I change packs at 16 to 17 mins, that battery change will get me to the 30min mark.

Hey wild man... Damn, another Tekno to buy... Hell I've barely got the NB48 under my belt. Friggin expensive habit I've picked up. So with only ~4 truggy entries @ RCHQ on any given Saturday, chances are we're going to have to race with the nitro guys. Don't know how RD will manage this, but I'm thinking 5 or 6s setup as I've read they could have the run times if they go to 15 minutes or more. Something like 3850/4400mah with 1700kv+5s or 1400+6s. Any thoughts on this?

I wouldn't bother with 5s. Go straight to 6s. Anything 1200-1400kv would be great. To get run time (and depending on your driving style), you'll need ~4500mah to make 15 minutes.

If you had a pre-order from towers on the ET48 it should ship today.. my info online wasn't updated but I called about an unrelated issue and they said my truggy was shipping today.

I got that info from a sponsored Tekno driver in my region. If it's not true I won't say any more about it.

gen2 rx8, 2000 truggy Tekin motor, 15 tooth pinion and used 3650mah in 7 minute race plus 1.5 minutes of warmup time. So 8-9 minutes of run time at 3650mah.

Tekno, please make the body thicker.

Looks like it's taking off everywhere except here. Sucks as i'd really like to run the new xray.

Hope it is. Would much rather have my cash go to tekno instead of a tlr22sct 2.0.
