I think the spring may have been a little too soft for out track, but it wasn't bad at all. Between the truck I drove and mullets, I noticed they both had some minor setup differences in the hinge pin insets I.e. orientation. The one I drove had a lot of turn in and pushed a little on exit. I believe it could easily be tuned to get a linear stable steering feel...... I wouldn't say it drives revolutionary, but it should definitely be considered by anyone who is looking to buy an e truggy. If I were to buy a new truggy, this would be the one for sure.

throw that busted DEX408T to the side and get a Tekno. :)

I'm on board unless I find a real TD deal which just might happen.

I'm really happy they come with 8x1.3 pistons as a standard part.

Can't wait to start my build.

Mines done

Mines together just a few minor details and a wheel alignment and it's ready for the track. I did find one problem, this rig is designed for low kv motors, high kv won't work. I wanted to run one of the old Castle 1600 or 1800kv motors but there isn't enough room. So while I'm deciding on which way to go I put a Castle 2200 in just to get it rolling. The smallest pinion I can use is 14t without grinding on a brand new motor mount and that's not going to happen. If my calculations are close a 14t pinion will be about 45 mph with a 4s battery. That's a recipe for high temps. Looks like I'll end up using my Tekin 2000kv truggy motor. I wanted to go old school but I bought a truggy from a bunch of modern designers! LOL By the way Tekno, your kits are awesome. So fun to put together a kit without needing modifying skills.

He's my thoughts on your next kit, take an eb48 and shrink it to 1/10 scale. I would buy a 4wd 1/10 buggy in a heartbeat and I'll bet I'm not the only one. Little bird told me the next Tekno kit will be a 2wd sct, boo hiss!!!

What track do you guys race at? I use to live in Austin and travel back through a couple of times a year. I quit the hobby before I moved out to Texas and never found out how big off road rc racing was there until after I left. Saw a nice track in Katy Texas back in August.

The track is RCHQ, it's just couple of miles off 35 at Judson Rd. When you get back down this way, drop on by, it usually starts as raceing and turns into a party by the end of the day...lol

Ran my et48 again last night did a few more changes and it was ridiculously fast had to run with ebuggies last night on a indoor track and this thing turned tighter and held a line better than any buggy out there and was a full lap or more ahead of all the buggies by the end
