Mamba Monster systems fit with about 4-5mm in between the ESC and motor. The ESC pad was made for Mamba Monster and smaller ESC's. The distance you are looking for is approx. 395mm.

By spec:
Mamba Monster 1 55.9 X 48 (47 for the MM2)
HW150A 58.3 x 46.5 (as measured)
Tekin RX8 55.8 X 38

The pic on page one with the RX8 installed looks really tight. Can you provide a picture directly over the ESC? The RX8 is the only one of the three with all wires coming from the top.

What about the Viper VTX8?

The Viper is slightly smaller than the Mamba Monster 2 (46mm x 53mm vs 47mm x 56mm) so if Tekno says the Mamba Monster fits then the Viper should fit.

Perfect.

Viper fits perfect- that's what I use. It's nuke-proof!!!

Antimullet, are you planning to get an ET48 to run at Cape Fear? I hope to start making trips out there when the weather warms up.

This weekend would have been a good choice, its going to be 75* and sunny. Can't beat that for the end of December.

Back-ordered it today from Tower. There's a $80.00 off of $600.00 or more coupon on their web site. With the ET48 being $599.99 I just added some diff oil to my cart to bring the total over $600.00. This was a good way to get the kit down to around $520.00 bucks.

Good to read that the viper esc fits because that's what I plan on going with. I think Electric will be a breath of fresh air after racing Nitro every summer since 2005.

I think this truck is going to really bring this class to life!

I hope so. I know I didn't like the who stadium truck look back in the day, but something about truggies always appealed to me, ever since the HB Lightning came out and caused them to split from MTs out here since they were so good.

The way you drive I can't wait to see how well the vehicle does, always a blast to watch you lay it down in truggy.
