After looking at the picture a bit more I'm very happy that the parts look like they are not 3d printed. That means the molds are done and I think A fall release is very promising. Very great stuff Tekno

How is it geared?

How long are the shocks?

How long is it's wheelbase?

How wide is it?

My club is having shirts made, can i have them put a Tekno logo on them?

Bump.

Danny and the crew aren't stupid and if they say fall it wont be far off. :D

Stop by next time you're at the track, you can check it out. The arms came out great. We'll need to adjust the molds a little bit before production, but they are already made. The body will take a while.

We're not sure what we're going to do for the body. The chassis is so narrow and we'd prefer not to have a gap around the sides. So the body could end up looking really narrow as well. We'll have to see how it looks. My gut is telling me that we should make it narrow for performance and worry about the looks later. What do you guys think? Should it share with our NT48 or should it be a total alien star craft that performs like no other?

You could share shell but put plates in the ET to fill the gaps.;)

Front shocks are 122mm (same as our buggy rears). Rear shocks are 137mm.

Wheelbase is ~377-390mm. Rear toe and front arm sweep affect the wheelbase along with 5mm of adjustment in the rear hub.

Width is ~410mm.

Logos are available to download on our site.

Awesome.

Do you have the weight of the truck completely nude?

Does it have buggy hexes or did you go with a wider hex?

spunkysandoval 06-03-2013 12:47 PM

i say make a narrow body that hugs the side guards! Tekno Starship FTW!

Rockthecatbox21 06-03-2013 12:50 PM

I vote to make the body something like a hybrid of an ftw body and the stocker eb48 body. Skinny, but really edgy like a lamborghini.

"alien star craft that performs like no other"

I'll take it!!

I vote keep it skinny and different as long as the airflow dynamics are logical.

I think something with a narrow body and flared fenders like this would be sweet (See the chopped pics below)

jacked103 06-03-2013 02:03 PM

I love the FTW body, it is so low profile that I don't think it will catch any air in it at all. that what I would more than likely run on it anyway

I like the JC punisher best.

We're shooting for $600-700. This will be a full option kit.
