how does the et48 work with those tires compairing to the mt4g3 ?

I took it for a very short 1st run, I'd say the tires work well. The ET48 is more stable, felt less tip happy. I haven't adjusted much, so hopefully it gets even better.

Savox 1283

Hey anybody running a Savox 1283 in there ET48? If so what servo horn are you using? The 25t Tekno one doesn't work. I have it up on the spline and still rubs and binds on the top of the servo. Any ideas greatly appreciated!!!

I had a strange issue with a new Et48 build. The steering keeps getting off center. The servo horn is tight and I even cranked the servo saver tight. When you have power to the truggy and the servo is centered you can actually grap the wheels and turn them about an inch. The ackerman screws are tight. The posts are centered into the chassis. Confusing. I am using a protek Chad Bradley servo in the truggy. I have two Eb48s and I had an Et48 before and I never had this issue before. I know that if you put pressure on the servo savor it snaps back to center because of the spring but mine does not do that

Well, I tore the cams back apart and for some reason there is slop in the cam. Not sure why but i ordered new cams.

This is interesting. I feel like I've been having the same problem. It seems like I have to adjust my servo trim before every race and even still it wouldn't stay centered the whole race. I didn't check the cams. I've only got one race weekend with it. Seems like it would be odd there was slop after only one race weekend. I'll have to tear it down and check that out.

mine hasnt even made its first race yet. I noticed it on the first battery pack.

There was a similar issue on the very first run of the eb48. Here is a quote describing how to fix the problem and make everything in the servo saver center properly.

SERVO SAVER CENTERING
So we have looked into some of the servo saver inconsistencies and found a solution for the wandering. Please see attached image. The face highlighted in blue needs to be sanded down about 0.1mm. The flashing from the mold prevents the servo saver from seating 100%. After doing this and tightening the spring down, it will hold as intended.
We'll look into a fix for this in the future, but it requires a mold change so it won't be the fastest fix ever. What is outlined above works great though.

Thanks for the insight! I'll check into sanding it and see where that gets me. Appreciate the help!

Hitec 7955TG and 7950TH don't need one, using the latter in my ET48 and the former in my other vehicles.

Looked like Xperts WR servo line wouldn't either for those curious.
