E Truggies are often over powered so controlling wheel spin is important to keep temps in check.
Gearing up can help and while in theory would remove torque you'd be surprised how much gear these motors can pull. In ideal conditions you never want your car/truck topping out on the longest straight for more than a moment. If you find yourself being able to do a 1+ count and not see any acceleration on your car/truck you maybe under geared. If you're using a Tekin Rx8 Gen2 esc, by all means utilize the data logger. There is an immense amount of information you can learn from looking at the info. Just make sure to clear your memory between runs so you don't keep looking at old data. |

That track looks amazing, perfect for a 1/8 truggy. I would pay good money to run at a place like that.
Funny when you google Unadilla this is the picture they use. I think it's fitting: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/8Nau0mzGaYs/maxresdefault.jpg |
I finally got mine running, but unfortunately the stock body fits too tight to my ESC/wires. I'm going to try & raise the rear body post.

Will be working this week on my teardown and rebuild of my ET48 to get it ready for the season.
This would be on a loose rough 1/8 track. I am looking to use 6x1.5mm pistons this year for better bump handling and also the LRC brace based on some advise I got from a driver of the NT48 on the same track. I forget the name of the setup I used before but it was very good on the track with 8 x 1.3 pistons, used higher number PT Racing oil settings. Any current thoughts on ET48 setup? |

Hmm.. That's interesting..
I have the rx8g2, and I'm thinking of doing a combo or lower CL and pinion count.. One at a time of course. |

yeah we know that nt and et has same body post position, but the width? is the new proline enforcer will embrace the mudguard of et? or there will be a gap between the body and the guard? :tire::confused::tire:
