looks like my basher setup will need to step it up in pinion size since the tires are 5inches in diameter.

was very fun though. Probably drop a 20T pinion on there.

Thanks.
Second photo show awesomeness of the ET48! I really like to look at flexing suspension :>

I'm running a 1700Kv in mine and put a 21T pinion in it and based on my few test runs up and down the road it seems plenty fast compared to all my other
RC vehicles! I have yet to get it on some dirt or on a track to see how temps are after a longer run though.

And I tried to search this thread but didn't find anything about Tekno updating the drive shafts from CVD's to universals. Is this eventually going to happen? I know there is a picture of Lutz's ebuggy on rcinsider that clearly shows universal drive shafts instead of CVD's.

I think the universals will be option parts. The new buggy hubs will be able to accept unis or cvd's. I haven't seen anything indicating truggy changes are coming any time soon.

Eric, great looking paint job ya got there! Out of curiosity... what do you reinforce the body with? I am assuming drywall tape?

I ask because I recently used a product that blew my mind when I went to reinforce my last body... It's called "FiberFix" and you can check it out here. I found it on an end-cap at my local Lowe's Hardware, but you can probably get it at The Home Depot or Walmart as well!

Anyway, after painting my last shell - I thought I'd give this stuff a try and boy am I glad I did! I overdid it on that shell, but it was my first go at it, so I thought I'd pretty much do as much of the body as I could. Well... now I know how strong this stuff is and where the weak spots are in the ET-48 body. I am getting ready to paint a new lid for this years' racing season and I am planning on using the FiberFix tape again... only this time in strategic spots! LoL!

If anyone is interested I could snap some pics as I go along... there is a good and bad way to apply this stuff I found!

I use a product called E6000 - similar to shoe goo. Anyhow I try to coat the entire painted area and add extra material in the areas prone to damage. I'll post some pics of the inside once I'm done though.

I sent an email to 3 companies about a body.

Pro-Line Racing
Unfortunately we do not currently offer any bodies for the Tekno ET48. However, we appreciate your feedback and will be happy to take your suggestion into consideration for future product ideas. However, there is a possibility that an item of this type will be released in the near future.

JConcepts
At this time there are no plans for that project, however I will pass your request on to the design team.

Leadfinger RC
No response.

Pics please. I'm finishing up my ET body right now and would like to reinforce it. Thanks
