what is the word on motor Kv to use for racing on 4S? I am looking at a 1700kv motor to get a bit more gearing range, based on the 4.44 tranny ratio. Any opinions? Also, assuming a 4S 5000mah pack, what kind of runtimes are you guys getting? Mainly need 10 minutes. Thanks before hand. |

Depending on the brand of your equipment, a 5000 should last anywhere from 12-15 minutes (dependant on your throttle finger of course) |
thanks for the info.
Hmm so a buggy motor can be used? do I need a fan, etc? Can source a buggy motor easier than the truggy for what I want to spend. |

yes, a buggy motor can be used. I am using a Tekin T8 1900 and it is great. Temps aren't bad, and it has usable power. Make sure you test for temp and use the correct pinion.

Thanks, I may just go that route instead.
Funny, I had a 1700 motor here for buggy for a possible indoor setup. I'll probably try a 1900kv, Tekin or Viper and see how it goes. Thanks everyone! Next question, what is the hot loose track setup at this time? If I want to run a similat setup like my 1/8 buggy and 1/10 sct, what should be changed relative to the truggy? (example, I use inner tower shock position, on the truggy go 1 out from whatever location on the buggy, etc) |

looks like I will be joining the crew!
I picked up an ET48 that looks like it wasn't used much for $500 shipped. Coming with 3 sets of AKA tires that appear to be in excellent condition, full set of springs front and rear, front and rear new A-arms and a new body along with a used one. So, what is the hot loose track setup right now and are the 6 x 1.5mm piston setup useful on this truck? lastly, is the LRC block the hot ticket on this truck too like its cousins the EB48 and SCT410? |

Hey guys,
I've had my et48 for around 4 months now and have tried everything to stop it being so loose in the rear. Changed suspension settings, diff oils, shock oils etc etc. Having the same issues with the buggy. I know you would of disgust this before so could someone drop a link to the conversation or page number ?? Txs heaps. |
