has anyone tried running a 1700Kv buggy motor on 4S on the ET48?

Also, anyone fit a Castle 1518 motor on the ET48?

RavensNightFury 02-11-2014 05:18 PM

I was thinking of doing it but I am going to try a 2050 or the 1900 has any one try a 2050 how much run time did you get

I will be running a 1350 on 6s when I get mine order and built

S.TRIPP77 02-11-2014 10:09 PM

I will be using a double flux Power Capacitor and 2 nuclear reactors HotWired to hardcore processor and a 4s LIPO and a 2000kv turbo charged motor with a 2 stage fogger system 350 shot of NOS motor.
Heck I can't spell half the crap I was trying to!!!! Hahahahah but by god it will be fast until I hit the first turn!!!!!!!!!!

f/r gear ratio is 4.44 on these right?

BTW 14-15t = 42-45mph w/ a typical race tire, maybe a touch more on straights w/ tire bloat

I was wondering that myself 9tooth pinion and a 44 ring gear?? How does it go 9÷44 or 44÷9 to get the ratio of the diff?

40t ring, 9t pinion in each diff so ya 40/9=4.4444

spur is 44, prolly where you grabbed that from... I think most people will run a 12(if it fits) to 16t pinion at most w/ this truck.

I have no idea what I will run. I just want to get the truggy first and I guess a 2050 combo or a 2000kv combo not sure yet. And a stronger servo from savox like a 1270 or the 1283.
