I'll be running my v2 in the 17.5 class and was wondering what gearing would be good to start with? Indoor clay high bite track.

I'm running 73/33 with a Team Scream 17.5 and rarely pull it off the track above 125F

I know Rick. Sorry. Holidays… Took a week off from work and everything to spend time withy kids during their time off for the first time ever so I disconnected from everything.

Have not run anything in almost 2 months and it's killing me. LOL

Dying to run my YZ-2 on a track so I can compare it to the PRS1. I have an idea from decades long gone as to how to improve traction should the YZ feel loose, and if I can't get it to hook up, the ultimate solution is the proven PRS1. LOL

And BTW, my solution will work for every 1/10 off-road car.

So I've been asking around and have yet to get an answer to this question: Does anybody have the "updated" aluminum hexes? I have recently had trouble on the ST-1 where I stripped the wheels out...but upon further inspection they really didn't look that bad. I have the original aluminum hexes and the angles are rounded off pretty good (they are made like that). On HP's site they listed an "updated" set with 2 part numbers (66480216 / 68000040). The picture shows a clamp-style set with no rounded edges. The other part number references a listing for what I think are the V3 hexes, which look to be set screw like the old ones, but don't appear to have the rounding like the old ones do. Can anybody shed any light on this?
