But I am the only person who drops bearing oil on all joints? I put a single drop of bearing lube on every single hinge, joint, ball end, etc. If it moves, I put a drop of bearing oil on it. The ONLY exception to this rule is the shock shaft and the steering rack on the 22.
I know... it would seem that the oil would simply attract massive amounts of dirt and oil, but this hasn't been the case. In fact, I have never experienced any of this rumored slop that Losi cars seem to develop. With the exception of my 22's steering, all my rides have about the same slop as they did when they were first built!
BTW, I blow off my cars with compressed air (except wheel bearings) after every run and re-apply a drop of oil to all joints every other run. And to specifically illustrate just how little oil I'm using, I bought a 2oz bottle of Team Epic bearing oil in February and it is still over half full.

I'm going to just spray a temporary body yellow till I get one done bye my painter. The colored case came about by accident. I tried dying it, but it did not work. I painted it with a spray enamel till I get a black case in at my lhs. When are they racing at space coast, I've never been there.

First off im gonna say this. well done TLR this is a nice kit! as always of course...
my wiring will get done tomorrow.
my only complaint is those battery straps. man... they have got to go lol
kit is tight thats for sure. even using bearing oil its still tight. so we shall see after a few batteries.
heres some photos. Had to paint one color, my painter is getting married this weekend so he wont have time before next weeks big race.

My kit was a little tighter than usual, I used a reamer in the hinge pins and the diff gears. It should be great after a battery or two. I did have to file the edges of the chassis where the front hinge pin braces are, but only a little.

Are you going to Space Coast to run?
You can put the pin's in a dremel and reem it that way. But I say," Drive it!"
