You have to run a long jumper across the batteries.

Wonder how long it'll be before there's a new eight from TLR.
I'm looking to get s new e-buggy. I was thinking TLR but the new Tekno has got my interest. The eight e 3.0 has been out for 2 years now. It might not be good timing to buy into something that's going to be replaced soon...any rumours?

Putting a lighter 2S battery and using a setup like the Tekin T8i motor and then looking at some other things to lighten up the buggy you could get it not too far off. TLR sells some alum drive shaft stuff and you can scrounge up a titanium screw kit to try and save some weight there and other little things but I think you are better off getting a used SCTE and converting it with some MIP stuff and going that route if you want to run this class

You can do this with an 8ight but this class is more intended for converted SCT like the MIP conversion or the Tekno light buggy (again using the SCT platform components). Losi had the 810 but never got it in a electric version as it was apparently before it's time.

Today I crashed really hard, after a very fast and long jump I hit the fence and buggy almost broke into 2 pieces... finished with broke broke spindle carrier. Now don't know I should just replace it, forget it or make a tunning option with alu TLR344001 part?
Is this a known weak point of 3.0e or that is just my bad driving?

Trying to be gentle on gas to do it, as my tracks are slippery outdoor 45sec laps;
And that weight - they are about 100 grams lighter than 6000 or 7000 batteries.
